The Bridges Project

About the project

A design project for students of primary and secondary school age examining the structures which span places and the bridges which can be made between European cultures.

Students will investigate the bridges in their own locality and describe them to to their partner school in the Netherlands using E-mail on the internet.

They will make design proposals for a riverside site which will include a bridge structure and leisure facilities.

The resulting drawings and models will be discussed with the European partner using the website.

Students will investigate the bridges in their own locality and describe them to to their partner school in the Netherlands using E-mail on the internet.

The focus of the project for the students will be to learn about this environment and about building structures.
