The 'Safeguarding Children' conference
The 'Safeguarding Children' conference takes place on Tuesday 2nd February 2010 at Castle Green. Delivered by the Barking & Dagenham Safeguarding Children Board, this is your chance to; listen to informative speakers, attend workshops and meet colleagues form external agencies. Does your job involve face to face contact with Families?
If yes, you may benefit from some Child Protection Awareness training
This programme delivers multi-agency training and knowledge transfer about child protection to all Local Safeguarding Children Board partner agencies, no matter what level of expertise in child protection.
Safeguarding e-learning
This is a web based electronic learning module.The e-leaning course was designed by Kwango Ltd, a UK training and consulting organisation. The e-learning programme provides basic child protection awareness as a preparation for the face to face courses and does not replace them.
For: All those planning to attend the LSCB safeguarding training courses, but who do not have experience in the safeguarding terminology, and/or practice with children and their families should use the e-learning course.
