Make a difference to the Life Chances of a Looked After Child
One thing is certain - if more adults spent time supporting individual young people, to assist them to recognise their own strengths to learn and succeed in school or in life, our community would become a better place for everyone.
Here's your opportunity to get involved by working in partnership with Children's Services Volunteer Mentoring Team and help make that vital difference in a young person's life and become a volunteer mentor.
The LACHES Volunteer Mentoring Team has Approved Provider Standard, which is awarded by the Mentoring & Befriending Foundation (MBF), who has been appointed by the Active Community Unit of the Home Office and the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to benchmark best practice.
