New Opportunities Fund
Monitoring Procedures

All data collection and monitoring procedures must be consistently recorded and should include the numbers of pupils and staff, including volunteers, ethnic backgrounds of students and all expenditure relating to the reporting period, with explanations for any differences between the budgeted funds and what was actually spent.

To ensure that all schools measure the benefits to pupils and that NOF funding is being appropriately used, monitoring procedures can include:

Dependent upon the individual circumstances and development plan of each school, any number of these procedures can be applied to ensure that monitoring and evaluation is adequately reported.

This information will then be incorporated into the annual report compiled by the Out of School Hours Learning Development Co-ordinator.
